Another great turnout for Labor's Picnic at Headwaters Park. Some 8000 hotdogs and condiments, purchased from Supervalu, matching buns purchased from Perfection, and sodas purchased from Pepsi with Chili on the side served up supporting Teamster families. Senate candidate Evan Bayh attended to show his support of Indiana Working Families. It is nice to see Labor United on our day to show respect for workers. With a nonstop attack on workers wages, benefits, and right to form a Union from big money corporate interests, the Labor Day picnic sends a message those who choose wage a war on workers that we are ready for that fight.
